Die überarbeitete Dissertation von Bryan Whitfield, die an der Emory Universität eingereicht wurde, greift ein Problem auf, das in der wissenschaftlichen Diskussion nach W.s Meinung bislang noch keiner anerkannten Lösung zugeführt werden konnte: den Zusammenhang von Hebr 3,1–6 und 3,7–4,13.
